The Dog to the right in this picture has gone missing during the thunder storm. A labrador cross bred.

Lost.... Union Wood Area... Have you seen Jenny?

Jenny is 14 yrs old Yorkshire Terrier and deaf. She was last seen while out walking with her owners and their other dogs, at Union Wood, (situated nr. Ballygawley) Sligo, on Saturday evening, Aug 20th . She simply disappeared within minutes. Despite having combed the woods , they found no sight of her. As you can imagine Jenny, needs to get back to her own environment and to the people who love her and know her best.

MISSING /LOST (Enniscrone Area Co.Sligo) HAVE YOU SEEN 'CHICO'

Chico is 2 years old, intelligent and loyal. Cautious of strangers. He has a long collie nose but is a large dog, larger than our Labrador also a male. We think his mum was a Labrador and dad a collie. He has small ears and was wearing a blue collar. Has never strayed before, he's very loyal to and protective of the three children in his family. He is all black apart from white under his chin and a little white on his paws.' We will try and locate a better picture.

MISSING/LOST HAVE YOU SEEN 'TANGO'

Tango is a sweet 16 yr old terrier missing from her home in Dromard. She went missing from Sligo town and was taken in, by someone who lived in Dromahair. From here tango went Missing again. She was last seen near Parkes Castle on Friday night/ Sat morn. She was wearing a red collar. It is vital she is returned to her devastated owner as Tango is deaf and will find it extremely difficult to cope out there alone. This beautiful girl has gone missing from her home in County Longford but was last seen on the main Sligo/Dublin road. Appeal from Heidi's owners 'We lost our 5 year old long-haired daschund (sausage dog) on Sunday 17th October . She is small and brown. Her name is Heidi. She was lost in the Strandhill area. Most likely between Strandhill and Town.

Heidi's owners are very anxious to get her back home and have offered a reward for her safe return.

Description: Paddy and Arthur went missing on the night of the 13th of July from their home in Cliffoney Co. Sligo.

Paddy 7 yrs old and his son Arthur 2 yrs old may have made their way towards Mullaghmore and someone may have found them there.

Both dogs are micro-chipped and neither have been neutered.

If anybody is offered a Boxer dog for sale or for stud please be vigilant. Please look closely at the photos as the dogs may have been parted.

We love our dogs and want them back

Lost x 3 weeks Have you seen 'Jessie'?

'Jessie' is a 14 year old un-neutered male, not micro-chipped. As you can imagine his owners are very anxious to have him home. He followed his owner, unaware at the time 3 weeks ago and clearly lost his way. There have been a number of sightings of him on the Strandhill Rd but have come to nothing.. Please,please if you know anything of Jessies's whereabouts contact us immediately, as due to his age it is vital to get him home as soon as poossible.

LOST COLLOONEY AREA HAVE YOU SEEN FLUFFY

OUR BEAUTIFUL CAT FLUFFY IS MISSING POSSIBLY STOLEN FROM COLLOONEY ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON 15TH MAY. FLUFFY IS A SPAYED MIXED BREED FEMALE BLACK,BROWN & RED LONG HAIRED CAT BUT LOOKS PEDIGREE, MAYBE THATS WHY SHE WAS TAKEN. SHE IS 1 YEAR & 8 MONTHS OLD. LAST WEEK SHE CAME HOME WITHOUT HER COLLAR AND ID TAG. I THINK SHE MANAGED TO ESCAPE FROM WHO EVER REMOVED HER COLLAR, BUT I THINK THEY GOT HER ON SATURDAY. SHE WAS NEVER OUT AT NIGHT, SHE WOULD BE ON HER CHAIR IN THE LIVING ROOM WITH US EVERY EVENING. SHE WOULD ALWAYS COME HOME, SHE LOVED HER HOME LIFE AS MUCH AS HER DAYTIME FREEDOM. SOMETHING OR SOMEONE HAS STOPPED HER FROM COMING HOME.WE WERE OUT MOST OF YESTERDAY (SUNDAY) SEARCHING FOR HER, PUTTING UP FLYERS, KNOCKING ON DOORS, CHECKING FIELDS, HEDGES, DITCHES & THE ROADS TO SEE IF SHE HAD BEEN KNOCKED DOWN, BUT NOTHING. ITS LIKE SHE HAS VANISHED WITHOUT A TRACE.WE WOULD LIKE OUR BEAUTIFUL FLUFFY BACK HOME WITH US WHERE SHE BELONGS TO BE ABLE TO GO HUNTING & RUN IN THE LONG GRASS. Sadly, on May 17th, Poor Fluffy was found killed on the side of the road, no more than 100yrds from where she lived.
This is sad ending but all too common on our busy roads. R.I.P.

He is a gorgeous cat - Short haired ginger and white - with a distinctive ginger goatee beard.
He is five years old and very well cared for - and big. He has not been seen since Saturday afternoon 8th May 2010.
He is friendly but not overly so as he is a mummies boy really ! Other cat and dog missing him - and obviously us !

FOUND STRANDHILL RD SLIGO DO YOU RECOGNISE THIS DOG

Found by concerned resident Female Labx, and nicknamed cuddles. She is possibly 1 year in age. Is very loving and affectionate. She licks your hand at every opportunity. She is wearing a pink collar. She didn't bark while she stayed inside. She also gives the paw and sits when asked. Please contact the finder on 087 6682373 or Sligo Animal Rescue 0872706222 if you recognise her.

Happily Owners have come forward and this dog known to us as 'cuddles' has been returned home.

FOUND STRANDHILL RD SLIGO (Involved in Road Traffic Accident) REUNITED WITH OWNERS

This young adult ,male, X Springer/collie was knocked down on Strandhill Rd near Kevinsfort Area. He is presently under Veterinary care and has sustained some injuries. please contact us as soon as possible if you recognise this dog or know his owners. We are anxious to contact his owners before a decision on his future can be made.
We were very pleased when this boys owners came forward and he was very pleased to get back Home.

LOST From Cartron Bay Area of Sligo SABA

Saba is 1yr old , neutered male. Grey/black tabby. Missing from his home since thursday 8th.
He is very friendly and his owners are very anxious to get him back. There is also a second cat in the home who is keen for his return.

SPIKE

Spike, a Border collie puppy, was found in Sligo town, having been involved in an accident. He sustained broken bones in his left Hind-leg . An appeal was issued on the local newspapers for to allow Spike have surgery to fix his leg. We are extremely greatful to all you members of the public that supported that appeal.

This lovely girl is approximately 9mnths old. She is missing from her home since Sunday 14th March and her owners are desperate for her return .

"Bear" is a 1.5 year old Rottweiler x Black Lab bitch - neutered &
microchipped with fido.ie. She's missing (presumed stolen) from her farm
in Tipperary since Tuesday 29th of Dec. She was wearing a collar with

This dog was found in Sligo Town but was later reunited with its relieved owner.

MISSING - TIGER

Missing 7 month old male kitten called Tiger. - tabby and white. He is microchipped and wears a green/blueish collar with a bell and address and phone number identifer. he responds to the name "Tiger". Tiger went missing in the strandhill area. If you have any information on the whereabouts of Tiger then please contact us.

FOUND - CLIPPER (SAD STORY)

Clipper was about 10 years old and was slighly deaf when he went missing from his home. Sadly, Clipper was later found dead in a drain a short time after he went missing. His owner believes that during the high water levels clipper wandered into the drain and drowned and until the water levels subsided his owners could not see him.

MISSING - HEIDI

Heidi is a 12 year old Miniture Yorkshire Terrier. She went missing from her home in Ballintrellick on Wendsday the 17th of June.'09. If you have seen heidi or know where she is please contact us.
