Adult Female , ? WolfhoundX /? lurcherX has a very friendly nature. She was rescued today by a local farming family . It has been in this area for the past 2-3 days. It appears to have been straying for some time as is very thin.

'STUMPY'...Jack Russell Terrier Pup
Stumpy, second daughter to Gwen above, like her sister Lucky is 5 months old . She is a beautifully marked Tri-colour pup .good nature and is very goodall round with people, children and other dogs.
Stumpy, sadly, is missing one paw but this just adds to her character and doesn't impede her at all. She is looking for her forever home.
If it is possible to rehome 'Stumpy' with either her mother or sister above , this would be an ideal situation but any of the dogs above can be rehomed seperately as they are all very independant.

Lucky is a tan and white female, 5 months old beautiful Jack Russell. She is daughter to 'Gwen' above and sister to the beautiful 'Stumpy' below.

'GWEN'........Jack Russell Terrier
This is Gwen. She is 16mnths old. She is very good around children and other dogs and has recently become mother to 2 beautiful daughters 'Lucky' and 'Stumpy' pictured below. Sadly her owners feel the need to rehome her and her siblings due to unforseen circumstances. Gwen will make a superb companion for whoever rehomes her and she is now looking for her forever home.

This little Girl 'Kitty' was rescued from a wall by a Gentleman who has cared or her for a number of weeks now. As much as he loves her, he can not keep her due to work commitments that means he travels alot.
Kitty is friendly and now house trained and enjoys playing games

Adult Male, well cared for, Found in a Residential area in Sligo Town following a road traffic accident. He sustained some injuries, which are now almost healed. FOUND.. BENSON ************THE BENSON APPEAL*****************
Benson was found in South Sligo. near a pub namely, Benson's Bar. He is young,border collie, male. He was the victim of a Road Traffic Accident and left abandoned on the roadside. He had sustained massive injuries to his hindleg. He was Rescued by Sligo Animal Rescue after being contacted by a concerned citizen and a very Successful Appeal was launced in the local newspapers on his behalf. This resulted in him being allowed to have very extensive surgery on his hindleg. Benson made a full rec overy and has been placed in a new home since. WE would like to thank all those who supported BENSON'S APPEAL . Without your much apprieciated help , Benson would most definitely have had to be put to sleep. Funding is very low in Sligo Animal Rescue and we depend on the members of the public for support. The huge response to Bensons Appeal showed us that even in times of recession there are alot of people out there willing to help the helpless animals in our care.

He is very friendly and loves a bit of attention, he is very good on a lead and is reasonably good to come on command but when he gets a scent of something he just goes. He tends to jump up on you but in a very gentle way. He would make somebody a lovely pet if they had the space.
