DOROTHY

Dorothy has been involved in animal rescue for a number of years and has gained huge experience since our onset. Dorothy will continue to be the main operator of our phone line and as you will find she is very helpful. Her passion for dogs especially collies has led to her now proudly owning 6 collies all rescue cases surrendered from owners no longer able to sustain care for their pet. Her management of the phone line and sometimes very difficult callers is admirable. Dorothy also works, but spends most all of her free time in conjunction with rescues, most especially injured and unwanted dogs and cats.

MAUREEN

Maureens passion for animal care is so over-whelming that it has resulted in her being home to 14 rescued dogs and 16 rescued cats. Her knowledge in animal rescues over the last 15 years will be of great benefit to the group. Maureen has built a relationship with Anna who helps in running a rehoming shelter in Sweden called Never Never Land, who are particularly intersted in rehoming Border Collies and Retired greyhounds, which may prove difficult to rehome here in Sligo. Maureen affords a huge amount of time over to the rescuing of needy animals.
